Savannah is a huge tourist destination, attracting millions of visitors each year.  They are drawn to the city’s blend of 18th- and 19th-century architecture, Southern hospitality, historic importance, and its cast of fascinating characters made famous by the book and film, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.

Georgia’s colonial capital was founded in 1733 by General James Oglethorpe, and the downtown district is the largest National Historic Landmark District in the nation.  Savannah encompasses six historic neighborhood, and resident open their homes each spring for the Savannah Tour of Homes and Gardens.    Trailing only New York City, Savannah lays claim to the second largest St. Patrick’s Day celebration.
