Just 45 minutes northwest of Atlanta, Cartersville is a vibrant city in the rolling hills of north Georgia. Much of the area surrounding Cartersville was affected by General Sherman's "March to the Sea" during the Civil War. The county seat for Bartow was Cassville, but much of it was destroyed in the march, so the seat was re-located to the relatively unscathed Cartersville.

Home to one of Anheuser-Busch's breweries, Cartersville is also home to a variety of culinary and cultural experiences. These include The Appalachian Grille, The Grand Oaks, The Booth Western Museum of Art, and The Grand Theater. The theater is a cultural centerpiece for the area, hosting musicals, plays, concerts, and civic events. Lake Allatoona is just a stone's throw away for those who enjoy water activities. On a lighter note, Cartersville is also home to Coca-Cola's first outdoor ad, which is on the side of Young Brothers' Pharmacy, located on Main Street.
